Amazing stormy light on Rannoch Moor. Black clouds worked their way up Glencoe in the distance and right to the edge of Buachaille Etive Mor, the mountain in the distance. The foreground was still bathed in light. Thought I was in for a soaking, but the clouds stayed where they were...!

I found it,too, when we were there in April 2008 on our way back home to Germany having spent another lovely holidays in Scotland.
BTW, I like the first one better because of the light on Buachaille and the composition.
Amazing light that you only find once a year if you are lucky to be in the right place... I like better the one where the mountain peak in the background is lit. It has a better balanced composition. Very nice tones.

Photo-wise, I prefer the first picture as I like the composition better.
