An addition to my nascent Mountain Churches of Virginia series. I was drawn to the sign as much as the building, obviously hand-made and juxtaposing Calvary into the Blue Ridge Mountains.
"I was drawn to the sign as much as the building" and unfortunately as a result, IMO, neither are well represented in your composition. Plus the blank sky of the upper left corner is not attractive to me. Perhaps moving a little to the left and up on a tall ladder would have given you the composition that does justice to both the church and sign. Or perhaps being on ground level and much further to the left. Might be worth a return visit.
