Wonderful quality with this - composition is very effective, and the toning with the dr5 is works very well with the subject matter. If you don't mind me asking, was this in Dev2?

Wow, this is nice. The way you've presented it, looks like the rocks are perched precariously on the ledge clinging for dear life.

All the best,
Daniel

Thanks for comments folks. They are a great encouragement...!

I've had a few visits to this beach over the last couple of years and am building up a small body of work, mostly abstract patterns like this. My self-imposed 'rule' is that I don't 'arrange' patterns like this, but spend ages looking for them just as they are. It's time consuming, but a very good way of training myself to become more observant and it allows me to really get the 'feel' of a location. I've also got a few rolls of colour neg film (Fuji Reala) from Cove Bay, but have not got round to scanning them yet...!

George, yes, this is SFX dev 2. It can be a bit trickier to meter and use than other films in dr5, if you're interested in using it, send me a PM and I'll pass on some hints. Also, have a look at my portfolio (link below), all b+w is various dr5 processed films, mostly Delta and SFX but also some Adox and Foma.

Cheers,
Gavin
