I'm glad you're getting comments on these because I think they are great. Also they have the "why didn't I think of that" vibe. The color tone is part of what makes it for me, because they are interesting yet not too jarring. What I find most interesting is that we don't and perhaps shouldn't, know they are wire. They look like sharpie marks but then the mystery is, why the shadows". I think they are a very creative idea, and really well executed.
 
Thank you blansky, you are right on point. I think of these a scribbles and did a previous series that was higher contrast and less photographic looking to the degree that people often asked me what they were. I decided to do another series and make them more photographic but trying to keep the feeling and energy of scribbling. The energy of it is the most important thing to me. I decided I wanted a distinct reflection in the foreground and it took me a long long time of stewing on it before I figured out how to have reflections in a blank background. The previous series was more about the energy of scribbling while this new series is more just about the energy of line.. sorry for the "art speak"
