Still Life Test Scene

Testing Tri-X @ ev 400 in Diafine.

I'm very much attracted to this combination; Tri-x with its timeless 'classic' grain structure, and Diafine with its forgiving, easy-going nature.

The series of tests, in which this is the first image, was inspired by an article by Steven Schaub on FigitalRevolution.

Thanks peeps!

I sort of like it, but I find the grain a little too pronounced. I'm going to test Tri-X with D76 stock, Xtol and possibly Microdol-X just to compare.

Btw.. this is not a print. Its a straight-scan of the negative, without any modifications other then basic levels + a simple contrast curve.
