Stereophonic 2

In early 2012, my Uncle died. An unmarried man, he was the tinkerer of the town where he lived. He spent hours picking up old bits and pieces and making them work again.

This photo was taken on the day of the clearing sale for his estate. There was a variety of old audio equipment for sale. This system (I would suggest it would have been from the late 60's) had character oozing out of it and made a very interesting subject.

This was shot with a Minolta 7 Film camera on Ilford Delta 400, which was developed in D76 1:1. This was printed on Ilford MGIV RC stock as a 6x4. This is a scan of the print.

Very nice tribute and an interesting photo beautifully printed, as well. Thanks for sharing.

A fitting tribute indeed. I like old audio equipment like this. Lovely use of depth of field.

I miss the good old audio equipment. The styling and design were great, and in my opinion, the sound was as good as todays. I think that's why there is so much interest in old tube equipment. I hope you could keep something interesting to remember your Uncle by. My condolences.
