Ok, my eyes are stuck; What do I do now? Please forgive the multiple question.

Very cool. What kind of viewer is available?

I used to do this (cross the eyes with no viewer) with stereo images in biochemistry textbooks. It hurts your eyes after a while but works well! This image is very cool and really does look very 3-dimensional! How far did you move the camera between exposures? It looks like a little more than normal eye-to-eye distance?

It's reversed for me - I'm used to the "look straight ahead" orientation and just can't do i tthe other way

Wayne- I need to work on a viewer for these, something like the old stereo card viewers from the turn of the last century. I'm going to have to do some more research.

Hal9000- I'm using a converted Polaroid Passport camera for this experiment, so there is no movement. The pinholes are set into where the lenses were- 2" apart.

It's come to this.....sitting cross-eyed at the computer....and enjoying it!

It worked and the image is pretty slick.

I prefer the look-through version rather than this close focus version. Focusing closer hurts my eyes - like so many old farts over 45, my close-up vision is gone...

You can still get the old-time viewers on the auction site.

Great fun!
