Steel Rhino

Despite the fancy title this is just a old rusty manure spreader. The toning was the result of a reverse toning, solarization accident I came across one day. They toners involved were Iron Blue, Sepia, and Agfa Sistan. I wrote down the steps but I cant find were I put them. I think it was Iron Blue, Bleach, Sepia, and then Agfa Sistan were the solarization took place, but I'm not sure of that. I may have used the blue toner twice. I need to get some Iron Blue toner and try it again.

Lovely Image !! Brings back some memories !! When I was a child growing up in KY,--the tobacco area not Appalachia, my father was a sharecropper on a tobacco farm. My brother and I would play in the barns around all this old decaying equipment--most of it steam powered and no longer in service but all the wooden parts intact---most is gone now--wood long rotted away and the iron scrapped---huge machinery as the dilapidated farm he worked was a real showplace in the 1930's but in severe decline by the mid 1960's. What a shame it's all gone now!! That machinery was several decades older than this manure spreader !
Nice image BTW !!!
