I am like you, I like skies with lots of things going on. I usually try to avoid plain blue skies, but as it so often happens, I usually don't have a camera around when the best skies "happen"! The expansive skies in this image is what makes it for me.

Thank you Sanjay. You are right, I carry an R-D1 most of the time, compact and quick to use with rather good results. But I often do wish I had one MF cameras with me when a beautiful sky presents itself. There is just no substitute for silver and lots of it. On this occasion I had the opportunity to stay at a facility along the coast for several days, and luckily the weather obliged.
