The Ektar handled the muted colors rather well.

I know- i don't know where people are getting this idea that Ektar is a contrastier evil step-sibling to Velvia that can't handle flesh tones or shadows. It's a beautiful film with incredibly fine grain, saturated but not hyperbolic color.
