Very lovely, Tony. The tones are very clearly delineated -- the curve at the top, for example. And I like how the film captured the textures on the wall and staircase. I'm interested to see you used a pyro developer, as perhaps the 510-Pyro I have on had would produce similar results. And a Topcon Super D -- one doesn't hear much about these being used these days. I hear nothing but good things about the Topcor lenses; I must try these someday.

That is indeed lovely. My first reaction. Great catch.

Oh my... echoes of speakeasys and flappers, ducky dolls, bee's knees, wooden nickels, cat's pajamas, debutant dames, gold diggers, tin pan alley, hoofers, hootch, gams, gun molls, and palookas.

Can you see them? They're all right there looking directly back at you.

Thanks all. I am indeed an Art Deco tragic, and this house and garden now belong to the National Trust. When I saw this staircase I knew that B&W was called for, so back to the car to get the Topcon as I only had a ...ahem...small digi with me. Trask, I often carry around a classic camera on my trips, and they don't get much more classic than a Topcon Super D....heavy though! Also, had I shot this on LF I probably would have used PMK, but the Pyrocat held the tones better than I expected. Ken, Gun Moles and Palookas....wow!
