Oh, this wasn't hand-held. This was on a tripod, for about 2-4 seconds.

Ha! looks like it was taken from the middle of the road. I was figuring you wouldn't be setting up a tripod there!

I was on the very edge of the curb of the opposite corner. So it just LOOKS like I'm in the street. Although I could have pulled it off, given that the intersection is very low traffic especially at that time of night.

wonderful night shot. i'm amazed the french let you take their photo...from what i've read they are particularly sensitive to having their photos taken...

Either they were oblivious (I don't think so - I think they were aware of me being there) or they were tourists from somewhere else and didn't care. But I did have quite a few French people in my photos and nobody seemed particularly concerned.
