I just got back from the Vatican. Lots of photos in St. Peter's but very hard to get. Don't even think about a tripod. One flash and you're excommunicated.
The perspective on this one is dizzying. I might have isolated one element like the shaft of light through the upper windows or a pair of arches, or whatever. Glad you got anything.

the composition in this is great, as is the lighting. I'm sure this was a hard one to get, but it's 100% successful. Congrats

Thanks for the comments. I agree Deckled, it was hard to settle in and shoot with no tripod or flash. This was the first time I had tried Ilford 3200 BW film, which I hoped would make it easier under the circumstances. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall results.

I love the off-balance, dizzy, whirling viewpoint - walking into an awe-inspiring cathedral and being overwhelmed by the sight and feeling.

Hi Gustavo, unfortunately don't have the image up at a site quite yet. Just beginning to organize myself and get images ready for a site. I'll let you know when they are.

By the way Gustavo, I like your images of peppers. Really neat.
