This one is from my ongoing work with Ukrainian churches of the Canadian Prairies. I've been photographing them for about 10 years. Planning on sussing out some more of them this summer!
The way the clouds break near the peak of the roof toward the left made it look like the building continued on but it was covered with the clouds. I first interpreted the black sky as shingles. Really like the way the IR played out.
Andrew, piling on here, a great image, have you made a contact print yet? You were at the right place and the right time, with clouds!!!!
It would be cool to see the panchromatic version of this same view point for comparison to yours.
Thank you, everyone! Kreeger, yes I have not made a contact print but I have enlarged it to 8x10. I'm thinking about making a copy negative onto x-ray and see how it looks as a carbon transfer print.
