The reconstructed Catholic church at Historic St. Mary's City. All that was left of it were the foundations, which were quite unusual - the walls at their base were over three feet thick. Begun in the 1670s, it is inspired by Italian design.
It might be my screen or the scan but the scene has a slightly strange but attractive look in terms of the light that has more than a hint of "nuit americaine" about it
It's a combination of being backlit and the vignetting from the lens on the Lomo LC-A - it's a superwide (38mm on 120 film) and because of its small size, it projects a smaller image circle, thus it vignettes by about 1/2- 3/4 of a stop in the corners. The photo was taken at high noon.
