Nice picture. I like that it was able to handle the direct sunlight and the deep shadows and still have detail. You also did a nice job of composition of giving the blown out sky some interest, with the branches.

Blansky, Thank You. Especially about the branches keeping a blown out section from boredom. An ND grad wouldn't have worked well because of the bridge's extending into the skyline. Best, would have been having a different sky. Again, your kindness has helped me & I'm grateful.

I like the detail of the high points of the bridge and yet retaining detail in the lower section. From the shadows of the small tree maybe 11:00am due to what appears like distant fog or haze. The tree in the foreground frames the subject-very well done.

In this case, it was, indeed haze. I'm itching for another take that has the towers disappearing into the fog. Its a pretty cool old bridge.

Well, whatever exposure you used, it was correct for certain. The balance could not be better. It is very well done, Sir. I find now after doing this for nearly 60 years that somehow we seem to just "know" how and "what" to do in these situations. and it works. It must be rather like muscle memory in playing the piano or guitar, we just can do it and not really know why or how we can do it. But in any event, you hit this one right in the 'sweet spot', be glad of it and be thankful..... Logan
