St Francis Xavier's, Leonardtown, Maryland

This is the original 17th century church which attached to the plantation from where 232 enslaved people were sold in order to pay off the debts of Georgetown University in the early 19th century. The plantation house also still stands. Related to but not part of my slavery series.
