I like this, you have hidden the worst of the vignetting problems of the panoramic pinhole camera by clever placement of your camera (tripod ?). You also, it seems, have removed anything you didn't wish to be included by this placement.
Never having been to that part of the world, I searched the web to see just what others had posted of this building, I think your image of it is pretty much up there with the best.
Thanks Mick, scan of the neg, though I will now I'd actually spotted it, bunch of hairs and dust spots on the RHS
I'd previously taken one in 6x9 format vertically https://www.flickr.com/photos/dairequinlan/50037906913 so I knew vaguely what I wanted, so it was a case of wrangling the tripod until the camera was pointing in the correct general direction.
6x12 with a 40mm FL I reckon is just too wide for me though. Too much vignetting on the edges for one thing.
Hmm, both this one and the vertical you linked to, look pretty good, with this one having the edge though.
I have a Russian Horizon 35mm which, with it's swinging lens, gives a very wide perspective. Sometimes you can get some unreal pictures, just like the one of yours above.
