It's been over 6 months since I actually shot any (U)LF film. I've been knee deep in shooting wet plate that I just haven't had a chance.
I went out over the weekend and shot a few sheets of 12x20 efke PL50 film.
I've been attending graduate school at St. Eds University here in Austin for a little over a year now, thought I'd explore it some with my 12x20.
Thanks andy.
Lars, I tilted the camera upwards intentionally, which created the converging lines.
I could have possibly used a bunch of front rise, but it would have caused a great deal of vignetting in the corners which I didn't think worked. The 19" Red Dot Artar has ample coverage, but it would have required nearly 3+ inches of extra coverage, which even for the 19" RDA is too much to ask.
Nice, Matt. I think it's the motion in the trees combined with the upward movement of the slightly converging lines that make the picture successful. Sometimes correcting everything can be boring.... look at Brett Weston's New York portfolio!
