St Cross Church

St Cross Church

Taken in early morning frost last winter. Not sure if the feeling of cold comes across because of slight warm tone to print!

Firstly overlall I like this shot being a fan of English Churches. However, I'm thinking that there is a little too much foreground. As this church has a tower rather than a spire it looks a little squat. I can see why your darkened the fore ground but I still feel that there is too much space not contributing to the shot. I do get a sense of the cold because of the obvious frost and the sharp directional lighting so characteristic of winter. Perhaps a light gold toning to introduce a hint of blue?
