I got a chance to go into the darkroom last night and printed this... I may need to even out the sky a little before I am 100% with it. You can also see some of the paper texture coming through in the scan. This paper is really close to MCC 118
the contrast between the dynamic rushing water and the steely rigid builds is marvelous. The composition just makes you want to sit and study it. Strong work .
I Keep coming back to this one. There's so much of interest for the eye to wonder over and the whoosh of the river is really dramatic. But the reason I think I am drawn to it is because it looks so normal but also so dystopian sci-fi! It's like the film with Charlton Heston in where he's the last man alive wandering all over the city after watching his 300th screening of Woodstock. Or the view from the submarine periscope when its taking last look at Seattle in On the Beach. Spooky.
