It is a good and intimate portrait, but, I see a very troubled individual. Just my observation.
I beg to differ. While we all struggle to stay in line and follow conformity, someone like Spyda has set himself free with no choice of return to what is the so-called 'norm' (and why would he? He's free). I applaud his conviction to follow what he thinks is right for him and I applaud his bravery to wear it with pride and compassion (eyes). In a world where we no longer know that we are not aware of the direction that this crazy society is taking us in, there are a few warriors who are brave enough to smash the barriers and venture into new territories. Territories that are in fact part of a tribal archaic revival.
