Unlike Mary Ellen Mark (no, I'm not comparing myself to her), I wanted my pictures of the disabled to be very compasionate and show their best. All these clients knew they would be photographed that day so they brought their nice clothes. I have several frames of this but all of them, the guy looks SCARY! He's actually a really funny guy. But for some reason, I kept asking him to smile and he finally did. I love the way the lady brought a ballon. She liked that ballon. It evan has a face on it.

Hi Eric - I like the 2 portraits you've posted here - very nice. One point though - I'm looking for The disabled in this shot but I cant see It anywhere - just two happy people .... perhaps it is hiding behind the balloon? :wink:
