Spooky slot

Spooky slot

Exploring inside Spooky slot canyon near Escalante, Utah. A beautiful place but not well suited to the 8x10 I brought with the depth of field problems associated with it. It was fun none the less (except the hike out back to the car). It was very dim and hard to compose with the f9 lens I had used so I did a bit of guessing. I'll take more time next time. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Eric, I need to spend more time exploring the area. I use 10 minutes with 1+1+100 in a jobo which gives me a zone Viii of 1.38 net density

Eric, I rate it at 80 and meter for the brightest highlight and put on z viii. This works for me 99% of the time unless it is way contrasty scene. Now the exposure and development may be right but it doesn't always guarantee the photo will look good:smile:
