Thanks for your comments, the image above was a scan, then toned digitally. Unfortunately I have not been able to print this in a darkroom because our University one has closed down for the summer. When it re-opens i intend to print on Kentmere Artist paper and then add a slight sepia tone similar to the image seen above. So you could say this image is a kind of work in progress.
 
This is a wonderful image, I am sure it can only get better when printed. good work on everything, composition, works beautifully with the cherry stem leading me back
into the frame. Good job!!
 
Good choice of paper for when you can get to the darkroom - it'll really suit this image. The "distressed" background, rough wood table, tarnished metal etc really gives a cohesive look. My favourite that I've seen here for a while. Cheers, Bob.
 
This image popped up from the random history files. Glad it did! had not seen it before. Beautifully done!.
