In most railway pictures the viewer is very conscious of the liner travel of the rolling stock, even when stationary. This rendition seems to fight that by forcing attention to just the middle of the car. Some of that is due to the colour and edge effects from the lith. cliveh has a good word for it in 'presence'.

this seems to have a subtle and beautiful diffusion quality to it, I guess that's the lith, I've only lith printed once, this could change that
