Southern Cross

4x5 silver contact print.

Ran into this wall of almost dead palm fronds (they were not white but closer to it than gray) and knew I had to photograph them but the light wasn't right. We stopped by two days later at a different time of day and it was perfect.

thanks, fellows! =) I had a hard time scanning this, the blacks on the print look strong but you can peak into the shadows a bit...
