A section of the west side of North Main Street in Iron Ridge, Wisconsin. This area was the location of extensive iron mining in the 19th century, feeding ore to early local foundries, as in nearby Mayville. Photo taken July 2019. Print made February 2022, 8” x 10”.

It gave work to the miners and The Place all around.
Making folks prosperous, they built houses, stores, and community spaces
Our Main Street welcomed families to shop and see friendly faces.
