Something happened

I don't care what some people say about velvia and skintones, I like it. Great for this kind of environmental portrait.

I like the colors of this picture a lot, and there is a beautiful depth of field effect and expression of the boy. The only thing that slightly bothers me is the lamp pole on the right, since it is against a white background, it has become a powerful graphic element that pulls my attention away from the boy and gives a bit to much focus on the background.

Maybe giving a bit more room to the left, in the viewing direction of the subjects, and cropping out the pole would have made a stronger composition.

But mayby this is all just a weird personal brain twist...
