Solar powered lamppost, 14th Street

Like both these you've just posted but this one is excellent.

i can't get over how sharp this (these) is (are), and how on this one in particular it looks as if the rail on the left was actually laid over or laid on top of the image...the upper left part of the rail looks so much as if it is casting a shadow, but i suppose that's just how the light bends around the rail, as i've never seen a shadow cast like that when the background is the sky. thanks for sharing!

The look is a combination of diffuse overhead lighting from the cloudy sky and the sun peeking through forming a second, point light source.
