@David Lyga Nope. It's as far from abstract as almost all other photographs ... it's simply a bright an clean-looking photo-optical digital depiction, nominally "of" something", standing on its own online (and approximating a print).

I like the curvelinear presentation. It brings out the curves in the solar fixtures by removing otherwise straight lines. Add a touch of vertigo...and success!

It’s an interesting distortion. I’ve always fancied taking some shots with a fisheye but I think the novelty of it would wear off quickly

@Svenedin The fisheye is very much a special-use implement. If used injudiciously it becomes a cheesy gimmick. I'm playing around with it for now to decide if it's something that really has a place in my arsenal or if I say everything I want to say with it pretty quickly.

Fair enough. I know what you mean. I’d be interested if you do find that it is something you want to keep and for what kind of photos.
