NIce! Very interesting secondary image (flare?).
 
Thanks for the comment. Soft focus is falling into a deep sleep I guess. Again. The highlights flare out because of the lens aberrations while the lower values are sharp. Classic soft focus effect.

You're the best! No, it was the front light out of an ancient pair of French binoculars. I paid $8 bucks for them! But I got 2 lenses for $8 so it's worth it.
