From a test roll of 2484 Pan Kodak Instrumentation film from 1989 that I'm trying to ressurect. Yes, it has gobs of film base plus fog. Might be kind of fun for the right project. I rated it at 400asa. 7 min. in the Dektol
Instrumentation film was made to be run through high speed / high frame rate cameras for photometric data gathering. Kodak originally rated this stuff at ASA 2000 or something like that. My initial guess was 800 in the Nikon but that still proved too optimistic. The shadows started opening up at 400 asa. It has a polyestar base and is thinner than usual 35mm film. This stuff has been at a continuous 36 degrees since 1989 or so. Even at that it has deteriorated significantly. It has quite a lot of fog.
