I went to test my new to me RZ ProII AE View Finder. Loaded a roll of film (thinking it's HP+5) shoot the roll, then develop. At no time did I double check the film used. So I developed in D76 1+1 for 11:30 minutes. Taking my first look at the negatives, I was shocked to see PanF shot at 400! Duhhhh
Nice photo, good contrast.
You should push film more often.
Would only be a problem if you had strong high lights, which would of been blown out, because the tones were more even you just got a bit more contrast than you would of before.
There was nothing there in the scene that was really capable of being blown out. The contrast range was amenable towards exploiting this 'safety factor'. - David Lyga
Great photo but you must be wrong about it being PanF. Isn't this the contrasty, temperamental film that is like nitro-glycerin. You look at it sideways and it blows up in your face
@pentaxuser That's only when you use it on a sunny day, and shoot it at film speed, and then develop it correctly. Other wise you end up with what I have, PanF @ 400 D76 1+1 for 11:30 min.
I'm interested to see what a print will look like. Maybe tomorrow.
