Snowy & Bomber

I was clearing out some junk from my mother's garage this weekend, and found a pile of old negatives from my first ever camera - a Kodak which took 126 cartridge film.

This was my favourite of the ones I've scanned so far. Bear in mind this must be somewhere between 25 and 30 years old and I would've been knee-high to a grasshopper when critiquing the technical aptitude of the photographer ;-).

Oh, yes - this is taken back in the day when we owned horses; Snowy is the mare and the foal is called Bomber. It's sadly been almost as long since I rode a horse as this photo is old, but not quite...

That colour palette could only be 70s. Wonderfully evocative of that era. Makes me think of John Noakes , Lesley Judd, Likely lads and Marathon bars
The power of photography. can't think digi shots will be so evocative in 30 years.
