Snowbound Fence

The lab processed this incorrectly, so I had to do some adjustments in post.

Fantastic, what a shot and well seen and captured.

Please tell me this is from last winter, and that you don't have snow already! And I really like the image, how the fence and the tree shadow lead the eye. Just wish that telephone pole wasn't there.

Thanks! I had taken in two rolls for processing - one was 400 and I wanted it pushed one stop. The other was 125 I wanted processed normally... and I believe they mixed them up. So a lot of the shots from the roll that got accidentally pushed looked a bit flat and washed out. The 400 was pretty much a total loss, but it was an experiment anyway. In the end it could have been a lot worse, and this image was among the ones I was able to salvage with minimal tweaking.

Yes, great light. How exactly did the lab muck this up?

Thanks for the kind comments. It was last winter, so no worries about early snow! I hear you about the telephone pole - I have mixed feelings on that. Without it, the image would have been a bit cleaner, but on the other hand, it was taken in a rural area and that is how things look up in the great white north!
