We got 1-1/2 feet of snow on Monday. VERY unusual here in the Sierra Foothills. It's Wednesday and we still can't get out to civilization. It's been a fun week (mostly)!
Very nice Kerik!
We received our first major snow of the season last night & today but not nearly as much as you folks had. You should post a photo your darkroom on a sled for us...
I need to get out & shoot but it's dark by the time I get off work......I may have to be late to work tomorrow.......

Ha! I made these images in my front yard. The darkroom was in my house. We had no electricity, but I don't need it for wet plate. Just a headlamp with a red LED. We get maybe 4 to 6 inches a couple times a year. In 20 years here, NOTHING like this. It was fun, but the novelty is starting to wear off... Getting a little cabin fever.
Thanks everyone. No such luck, Bill. Most of it is off these trees now, but there is still lots on the ground. We finally made it out of our road today. Bad news is I guess I have to go back to work tomorrow. :-( There's another storm coming this weekend, but it's supposed to be warmer with only rain at our elevation. Andy, the process tolerates cold, but things can get tricky. I haven't done a lot of cold weather work before and since I was working out of my home darkroom, the cold really wasn't an issue, although I had a couple of weird things happen...
