Yes, the camera and film seem to be just perfect for each other.
I queried the dimpleted pressure plate with Hasselblad before I bought the Xpan II, knowing that it would cause problems with HIE, and to cut a longish story short, I asked them to fit the smooth plate, which they did at Hasselblad UK. They were very helpful and did it quickly for me. But thanks for mentioning it, because like you say, it does seem to be somewhat of a secret!
~mhainz~ Thank you for your message. I usually rate HIE at 400 ASA during warm summer days, moving it down to 200 ASA autumn and spring and 100ASA for wintery shots. I'm using these as a starting point, I then bracket a little around that suggested exposure.
