Yes, his concentration on the task is perfect; despite the care and precision needed to build the perfect treat, it always ends up as complete entropy.
Thank you, Mike. Yeah... these things always deteriorate, and need to be noshed quickly, before a favorite stuffed animal gets messy, and banished to the washing machine!!
I'm trying to figure out what he has cradled in his left arm....?? Oh, what the treat looks like is of no consequence to him! It simply doesn't matter....
Hey Drew... that's his "horse" who was originally a kind of stuffed animal "chess piece", but he's been loved to tatters. If you look carefully through my gallery he appears in two other photographs! And several more that I don't have posted. I could probably build a portfolio around him!!
If you hadn't mentioned the s'more, I would have guessed he had a horseshoe crab shell in his left arm and he was poking at a small crab w/a stick! Where the hell are my glasses??
Suzanne, I've been a silent admirer of your work. It's gotten to where I can pick your 'child's life' photos out in the thumbnails. The genuine qualities come through. The swing picture recently was a real treasure. It makes me want to 'capture' my son while he's still young. Thanks for the great work.
