Smoking Section

From my series SHELTER (2011-12), which is a body of work examining how homeless your struggle with identity and institutionalization in a rural homeless shelter.

There's probably 100-300 cigarettes smoked in this section a day from the 30 youth who stay here. I found a youth sleeping on the cushion by the fence after a night at the bar. He knew he couldn't come in intoxicated so he set up shop outside until I found him and brought him in.
