Very nice- but you need to control the shadows on the side of her face. That kind of lighting might work well for male portraits, but there should be more roundness and softness of light for a female portrait.
Thank you guys for your comments. That is how she normally smiles and laughs and very often too. Scott, you might be right, but I am not sure what's really wrong with this lighting. I have many books on studio lighting and know the techniques but I mostly use the modelling lights on the strobes and polaroids and visually decide what I want.
