Smashin Off V

Took this photo at floor level pointing up at the standing subject (looking down) - used the full extent of the Sinars front and rear rise to remove the distortion - just like an architectural photo really, tilt to retain focus along the front plane of the subject ... Two Lowell Totas in a white room full of bounce and ashtrays, but I cooked him to get the shadows. Printed in Pt/Pd, I can see the problems with weird edge affects in the coating (see discussion here:http://www.apug.org/forums/forum42/45047-edge-weirdness-my-pt-pd-coatings-solarization.html#post555182 ) - Any impressions welcome - thanks!

That's great. I really like the lower but still straight-on perspective you got with the 4x5.

I have liked this whole series of yours. I admire anyone that's successful in making portraits with a view camera.
