Another new print from an older, 2004, negative. I'm reprinting what I feel were my best negs from the first couple years I became more focused on my work. These new prints look a bit better than the older ones for sure. And this place is one of my favorites to photograph, or just be. If anyone ever makes it to the Pittsburgh area I highly recommend it.
Shawn,
When I lived in Cleveland my buddy and I use to drive there on Sunday or Saturdays and trout fish that area. My god I forgot all about that. I saw Slippery Rock and couldn't remember where I heard that until you mentioned Pitt. Yes it is a unbelievable area. We would fly fish and turn around and a Deer would be crossing the creek 25-30 feet from us. Love your shot. It reminds me of being out at the Merced River this spring in Yosemite.
Shawn, I recall seeing this, or a similar scene, a while back. Very nice. It's often enjoyable to revisit older negatives for another round of discovery.
Thanks everyone. Let me know next time you plan on going, djkloss. I usually drive down several times year. Definately feels different than the surronding area. You're recollection is perfect Michael. That could be any given day there.
I'm certainly learning much by revisiting these older negs and have come away with some better prints as a results. Thanks again.
