Slippery Rock Creek #3

4x5 silver contact print

Saturday was beautiful here in western pa so I left work running, loaded some holders and headed for my favorite place - Slippery Rock Creek in McConnells Mills State Park. I've been using my 90mm a bit more lately... many possibilities with that glass.

Nice tones and contrast! Warmtone fiber?

I always remember the sign when driving down the turnpike and even stopped in Slippery Rock once. Not long enough for pictures unfortunately.

Those flat rocks there, are they sedimentary rocks or broken up concrete? It is tough to tell with such a small scan.

Thank you, and yes, the fiber version. There are areas of large boulders, far larger than these, all through the creek in this gorge - but there is an old bridge just down from me here so a little of both.

It doesn't seem to really matter what paper you're using, Shawn. Your prints are all superb.

Thank you fellows! One of those days out that stay with you through the winter.

Thomas, thank you. I'm starting to realize what's important and just concentrating on the work. =)
