Nice study in vertical and horizontal line. Would probably look great in B&W as well. It's an interesting demonstration on how color can disguise things. In this case because the color is so strong and green that it can overpower the intent (or not) of the line patterns and shapes. In color, it's sort of is one thing, and in black and white it would be something else entirely. But it's a great shot and can work well as both. Often in shooting film that decision is made for us when we load the camera. Since I went to digital I have that dilemma every day while looking at the images in Lightroom. Which do I like best, color or B&W and why.
