Skylark

They don't make 'em like this any more. Most modern cars seem to come out of the computer-generated, wind-tunnel assisted programs looking like a deformed potato. I'm all for efficiency and wise use of resources, but can we allow just a little bit of art to influence the design? When was the last time you saw chrome on a new car! Nice composition too.

When chrome was thick and women wore the dresses. It *is* a nice one of a fine steed. Rendering on the chrome is on the wow end of the scale - makes me curious on developer & method. Soft light on the light paint gives a reflection that's there, but doesn't distract at all or give unintended selfies. Diagonal framing is nice nicely strengthens or foregrounds the angular form of the car nose. 'Hope I can get a few like this as the shows come around this yr.

Thanks all for your thoughts, overcast weather is my favorite for car photos.

Jerry, no idea...this is the only photo I took. I don't think it was formally in the show, so no info/build sheet.
