Wet plate collodion on aluminium. Exposure was approx 20 secs and the skull was removed after 8 secs - this was yesterday and my memry seems to be getting shorter than the exposure times

Carl, let me emphasize that I think your idea with half exposed objects in the frame, ghost images if you will, is just brilliant. I don't know if it's been done before, but I also don't care. This is just splendid work. I keep coming back to it. It haunts me. Beautiful.
