I was cleaning out the kitchen drawer we use to store our onions and garlic. The skins had a wonderful pearlescent quality to them so I spent some time playing around with them.
Nice work, Daniel! Your use of DOF in many images has really been an inspiration to me. Here I think it not only invites the eye into the image but also gives it a sense of depth while confusing the scale at the same time. Really excellent work. Shawn
No need to apologize, Vincent. As the saying goes, "Different strokes for different folks." Getting beyond the need to have everything sharp and using selective focus as part of the visual expression has been something I have been pursuing. Needless to say, some times it works better than others.
Daniel, I have to agree with Vincent, in my personal taste I need like an inch of focus at the foreground. Hoopss, this is the standard gallery, isn't it?, sorry.
