Skewed Bridge - Little Things

6x6cm silver contact print

One of my new found favorite places to photograph. Was working on the bridge for half an hour or so and only one "car timeout". :)

Thanks! I was actually thinking of you when I found this bridge, I knew you'd know what it was called! Thanks again. Shawn

good work Shawn. This has nice lines and the sky pattern is complimentary ....

Interesting lines and perspective. I like the nice tonality in the bridge and the sky.

Thanks fellows and Suzanne. I couldn't help but to anthropomorphize this bridge, it certainly seems to have taken an aggressive human stance. I passed by this spot at first but when I came back across and saw the clouds I decided to make the exposure. All the best. Shawn

You are, once again, building an impressive body of work. I remember your 'pond scum' days where you had a very clear focus on a mass of subject matter. This time it seems to be about an appreciation of little things (or large such as this one), that are perhaps otherwise overlooked.
I think it's extremely creative, and you deserve all the respect in the world for doing it your own way. I would love to see these prints.

That's the feeling I got standing in front of it, Andrew.

Thomas, thank you. I've certainly been working hard on this project. I have a stack of 8x10 negs from a trip out west I keep postponing in the printing order because I've been more excited about these. Whatever the current motivation happens to be I try to follow it, makes the work come easier and ends up better I think.
