The buzzard just sat there ignoring me. As I was using my 45mm lens, I was actually much closer to him than it appears. What he was after wasn't subtle...the smell was pungent and noxious!
one camera man and one camera! i would love to see all of this "series" done as large prints. i think they would be spectacular! thanks again for getting my morning off to a wonderful start!

It's not surprising that they would be so prominent in Dutch landscape that is flat like Florida. But, then there are the wonderful architectural elements that just don't exist here (or at least have not been discovered yet by me!)

It's not the flatness only; there is an interesting theory about the famous 17th century Dutch light and skies. The water surface of lakes and wetlands work like a lens in reflecting the light on the incoming clouds from the Northsea. http://www.holland.com/global/tourism/article/dutch-skies.htm
